In today’s lesson we pick up a few miscellaneous ideas as well as begin our study of transformational geometry. In particular we learn: 1) how to find the length of an arc when we know the measure of the central angle and the circumference of a circle, 2) about the areas of similar shapes which have twice the perimeters, 3) how the coordinates of the vertices of a shape are affected by slides and reflections.
