Simplifying Square Roots (Radicals with Index 2)
Overview
In today’s class our warm-up requires students to use their understanding of the solution to the Locker Problem. Also in the warm-up are a few “Box Puzzles” which help students build skills they will need during the upcoming units. Our lesson today continues from last class-- working on developing the ability to simplify square roots (radicals with an index of 2) as well as other radical expressions.
